Police have established a temporary round-the-clock post at the crime scene where Mir Raza Ali’s body was found, saying personnel will remain deployed there until proceedings in the case are completed.
The 25-year-old went missing on July 28, and his body was discovered the following day in bushes near Shahi Qila Ground in Gulistan-e-Jauhar with a gunshot wound.
According to police, officers stationed at the site have been instructed not to leave the crime scene unattended while the investigation remains underway.
A police contingent will maintain a 24-hour presence in two shifts. The first will run from 8am to 8pm, while the second will cover the site from 8pm until 8am.
Police said the deployment was intended to secure and preserve the crime scene, preventing interference with the location while investigative and forensic proceedings continue.
The measure comes as investigators continue examining evidence surrounding Mir Raza’s disappearance and killing, with the case having undergone increased scrutiny in recent days.
