Mir Raza Murder Probe Expands to 10 People Who Allegedly Lent Him Over Rs50m

Investigators probing the murder of young entrepreneur Mir Raza Ali have prepared a list of 10 individuals who allegedly lent him more than Rs50 million, with authorities planning to question them as part of the ongoing investigation.

According to investigative sources, officials have compiled details of the individuals as well as the amounts they allegedly loaned to Mir Raza.

Sources said a person identified as Abid allegedly lent Mir Raza more than Rs17.5 million, making it one of the largest individual loans identified so far.

Another individual, identified as Moni, reportedly provided him with a loan of Rs500,000.

Investigators have traced loans totalling more than Rs50 million from the 10 individuals, according to the sources.

All those identified are expected to be questioned as investigators examine Mir Raza’s financial dealings and whether they have any relevance to the circumstances surrounding his murder.

The development marks another avenue of inquiry in the investigation, which has expanded in recent days as authorities examine forensic evidence, digital records and individuals who had contact or financial dealings with Mir Raza before his death.
