Indian singer and rapper Diljit Dosanjh has set a new benchmark for Punjabi music after his Aura World Tour became the highest-grossing North American tour by a Punjabi artist, according to Billboard Boxscore.
The tour has generated $45 million in revenue and sold 317,000 tickets worldwide. Its North American leg alone grossed $32 million and attracted more than 225,000 fans across 15 shows in the United States and Canada.
According to Live Nation, the tour surpassed Dosanjh’s own Dil-Luminati Tour in 2024, which previously held the record as the highest-grossing North American tour by a South Asian artist.
“The Aura World Tour reflects both his global appeal and the growing demand for South Asian artists worldwide,” Live Nation representative Nidhish Varughese told Billboard.
