Two new cases of Monkeypox have been reported in Lahore, bringing the total number of infections in the city this year to 54.
According to health officials, two 22-year-old women tested positive for the virus and were admitted to Mayo Hospital for treatment.
Medical experts said the latest cases appear to be locally transmitted, noting that neither patient had a history of foreign travel, raising concerns about community spread in the city.
Both patients are currently under treatment at Mayo Hospital, while health authorities continue monitoring the situation and tracing possible sources of infection.
