United States warns Israel that West Bank Annexation may Undermine Ceasefire Deal

Marco Rubio, The United States Secretary of State warned Israel on Wednesday against annexing the West Banks, saying the steps taken by Parliament and settler violence is threatening a Gaza peace deal. Israeli Lawmakers voted on Wednesday to push two bills on annexing the West Bank barely a week after Donald Trump brokered a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas. Rubio said, ” I think the president’s made clear that’s not something we can be supportive of right now.”
