Indian Foreign Secretary Denies US Mediation in Ceasefire with Pakistan

Jarida Report

India’s Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri, has stated that the United States did not mediate the recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan. He emphasized that the decision to halt military actions was a bilateral one, initiated by Pakistan, and that no third-party involvement occurred. Misri’s comments came in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s repeated claims of facilitating the truce, which were not corroborated by official channels. Additionally, Misri ruled out the possibility of restoring normal relations with Pakistan in the near future.
