Security forces killed 24 Indian-sponsored terrorists in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operations were conducted on 4-5 February 2026 in the Orakzai and Khyber districts.
On the reported presence of terrorists, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in Orakzai. During the conduct of the operation, troops effectively engaged their location, and after an intense fire exchange, fourteen terrorists were killed. Another intelligence-based operation by security forces was conducted in Khyber District. In the ensuing fire exchange, ten more militants were effectively neutralised.
