135 Killed in Gaza in 24 Hours as Starvation Deaths Rise, Says Health Ministry

At least 135 Palestinians, including 87 seeking aid, were killed and 771 injured in Israeli strikes across Gaza in the past 24 hours, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry. Among the dead were five who succumbed to starvation, bringing the hunger-related toll to 193, including 96 children. Three additional bodies were recovered from earlier bombardments. Since the war began on October 7, 2023, Israel’s offensive has killed 61,158 Palestinians and injured 151,442, the ministry said.
